About Udaipur
Founded in 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh II of the Sisodia Rajput clan, Udaipur is one of India's most beautiful cities. Nestled among the Aravalli Hills and centred on a constellation of natural and man-made lakes, it earned the nickname "the Venice of the East" for good reason.
